Kyrgyzstan. The land of high mountains that amazed me.
In the spring of 2022 I went on a fantastic expedition to Kyrgyzstan. For two weeks I visited different parts of this small but bright and diverse country. I drove through high mountains, narrow gorges to the clear mountain lake Issyk-Kul. I was amazed by the beauty of the country and the hospitality of the people Location.
Trekking from Buguldeyka to Peschanaya Bay
In summer, there is a special atmosphere on Baikal - the purest water and air, slopes covered with greenery and a feeling of peace and freedom. One can touch this beauty while hiking along the shore of the lake. In the summer of 2022 I walked this route on one of the difficult to access and little-visited hiking trails.
Baikal ice - variety of shapes and patterns
In winter, Baikal is covered with a thick layer of ice. Colors from black to turquoise, riddled with cracks or blisters - you can look at and photograph it endlessly. And the most interesting thing is that every year you will find completely different, incredibly beautiful ice patterns that you have never seen before.
