Three-day Olkhon Island adventure from Irkutsk with Khuzhir village, Burkhan Cape, Cape Khoboy.
Day 1 — Irkutsk → Olkhon Island
Morning departure from Irkutsk. Drive through the scenic Tazheran steppe and cross to Olkhon Island by ferry. Arrival in Khuzhir village, followed by an evening walk to the sacred Burkhan Cape (Shamanka Rock). Overnight stay in Khuzhir.
Day 2 — Northern Olkhon: Cape Khoboy
Full-day jeep excursion to the northern part of Olkhon Island. Stops at panoramic viewpoints and sacred sites. Main highlight: the dramatic Cape Khoboy. Picnic lunch included. Return to Khuzhir. Overnight in Khuzhir.
During winter, the tour operates by hovercraft across the frozen lake or by UAZ 4WD vehicles over land, with the possibility of guided walks on Baikal’s ice.
Day 3 — Olkhon → Irkutsk
Free morning in Khuzhir village. Drive back to Irkutsk with arrival in the evening.
