Irkutsk City Tour with Local Guide

Discover Irkutsk with a local guide on a flexible city tour available in two formats: a relaxed walking tour through the historic center or a comfortable sightseeing tour by car. Founded by Cossacks in 1661 at the confluence of the Angara and Irkut rivers, Irkutsk grew into a major Siberian trading hub and later became an important station on the Trans‑Siberian Railway. During the tour, you will explore beautifully preserved merchant houses, classic Siberian wooden architecture, Orthodox churches, and elegant 19th‑century buildings. Stroll along the Angara River embankment and learn about the rich history of Siberia, its explorers, merchants, and cultural heritage. This experience offers an authentic introduction to one of Siberia’s most atmospheric and historically significant cities.
